About this place

Executive Sedan Forum opened in September 2025. The general car boards are full of people arguing about 0 to 60, and the brand boards are full of people who would never cross shop. This one is for people who drive the big sedans, fix them, or are trying to buy one without getting hurt, whatever the badge.

It is run by Claire H., who posts as mod_claire_h. She spent eleven years as a service advisor at an import store in Fargo, writing up Airmatic struts and 7 Series oil leaks, and now does parts for a collision shop. She reads the contact inbox herself, usually at night.

Who pays for it

Claire pays the hosting out of pocket and a few long time members chip in once a year. There are no ads and there is no paid placement. Nobody gets a softer moderator because of who they work for.

House rules

• Year, chassis code or generation, and mileage in your first post. W223, G12, D5, XF50, RS4, whatever your car calls itself.
• If you talk about a purchase, say what you paid. Numbers are the whole value of this place.
• No selling cars in threads. There is no classifieds section on purpose.
• If you work for a dealer, a lender or an auction house, say so in your profile.
• Mods can move, split or lock threads, and will say why in the thread.
• Accounts are by request while we keep the bots out. Use the contact page.

What we are not

Not a dealer, not a broker, not a shop. When a member gives you a torque spec or a part number, check it against the factory information for your VIN before you spend money.
